Avro Shackleton MR1A WB822: A Symbol of Maritime Patrol Excellence The Avro Shackleton MR1A, specifically WB822, is a historic maritime patrol aircraft that served with distinction in the Royal Air Force (RAF) and the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) from the late 1950s to the 1990s.
