Poster produced for London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) and London, Midland & Scottish Railway (LMS) to promote rail travel to the Western Highlands in Scotland. The poster shows an illustration of the legendary Scottish folk hero and outlaw Rob Roy (1671-1734). Artwork by Doris Zinkeisen (1898-1991), who studied at the Royal Academy Schools.
